‘SOLAR STORM’ high alert has been issued by the Space weather experts and said that two big flares are poised to be launched from the Sun.

Space weather physicist Dr. Tamitha Skov issued warning guidelines about the potential of the solar flare. He further said, “No big earth directed storms yet, but we are on high alert. Several sunspot clusters are in the Earth view right now”. At least two are big flare players, but none have launched anything significant”.

 Dr. Skov also said that these flairs storms can also be seen as beautiful seen concerning the earth planet in some parts of the world like the UK in Canada.

Dr. Skov also added in her report that “It looks like a pocket of fast solar wind from the small coronal hole is over-performing! And we should enjoy a bit of aurora for the next few hours at least.

She also said that “What a great holiday gift for the people of Iceland and east coast of Canada, if these conditions last”.

The so-called coronal holes are the open space regions in the upper surface of the Sun (Sun’s Corona) and compared to the other surrounding areas the Plasma is considerably cooler and dense here.

Depending on the calamity of the storm, it can have a wide effect and impact on the planet.

As per the US Space Weather Center (SWPC), solar storms are measured on the scale which is ranked from “G1 Minor” to “G5 Extreme” and in both two the latter being the most dangerous.

Minor storms can have a small impact which can be resulted in weak power grid fluctuation and can have a minor impact on the Satellite operations.

These weak storms can cause the illusion effect for some of the migratory animals and can perform auroras at high altitudes. But, as their severity increases the effect of such storms can be seen as the result of the big changes in the terrestrial body and orbital technology.

The storm of having G3 rank in the measuring scale can lead to the surface charging of the Satellite and Drag may increase the Low earth orbit spacecraft.

The far end of the scale which is showing the severity level of the storms, can have a large effect on the satellite and can collapse the plates and can damage the transformers. And the result can be seen as the several hours of signal blockage of the radio.

On the topic, SWAP said “During storms, the currents in the ionosphere as well as the energetic particles that participate in the ionosphere add energy in the form of heat that can increase the density and distribution of density in the upper atmosphere causing extra drag on Satellite in low earth orbit.

The storm can produce streams of high energetic particles in the solar wind and known as the solar wind event and it can affect the eart5h magnetosphere and even can produce radiation which is harmful to the spacecraft and astronauts.
